Goa is at its best from October to March during the season of autumn or early summer. The weather remains perfect during these months, especially for outdoor activities. During summer, which lasts from late March to June, the heat becomes unbearable.  Monsoon months, between July and September, should also be avoided as the Arabian sea gets rough and remains out of bounds for boat rides and water sports.

Yes, you can wear your contact lenses while snorkelling, but it is advised to come prepared with doctors’ guidance and follow them strictly. Make sure that the snorkelling mask fits you well so that there are less chances of bacterial contamination.

There are also certain risks of wearing contact lenses while snorkelling. For example, if the mask is not well fitted, the lenses may be washed off from the eye. In such a case, it is best to take extra precautions such as having an extra pair of lenses on the boat, just in case.
